Sean Winter scored twice as Stranraer beat Annan Atheltic to move top of the Scottish Third Division.
Winter headed the home side level before half-time after Ian Harty had put Annan ahead from the penalty spot.
The visitors took the lead again when Sean O'Connor finished from close range, but Stephen Stirling's spot-kick brought the hosts level.
Winter edged Stranraer into the lead and a late goal by Craig Malcolm made sure of the points.
Stranraer are a point ahead of Alloa Athletic and three in front of Annan, with the latter two sides both having played a game less.
The deadlock in the Hogmanay clash was broken after Frank McKeown was adjudged to have fouled John MacBeth and Harty converted from 12 yards in the 36th minute.
But Winter got on the end of Stuart McColm's cross to nod home five minutes later.
O'Connor's 59th-minute drive was cancelled out within two minutes by Stirling's penalty, awarded after the midfielder had been fouled by Steven Sloan.
Winter's strike from 18 yards gave Stranraer the lead for the first time on 69 minutes and a well-placed finish by Malcom two minutes from the end completed the scoring.
