Kenny Jackett has reminded his players of their professional responsibilities to ensure they are in peak condition for their match against Portsmouth.

The Millwall boss said the Boxing Day game was a great opportunity to move away from the Championship drop zone.

He told BBC London 94.9: "You need to talk to the players, tell them what you expect and their responsibilities.

"The rewards you get are the atmosphere at Boxing Day matches. It's a great day to play on and it's always memorable."

Jackett urges Lions professionalism

Millwall go into the match after a 2-0 defeat against Hull and Jacket said he was expecting a response from his squad.

"We are looking for a top class performance from our players," Jackett said.
