Torquay 0-0 Oxford Utd
Play-off chasing Torquay and Oxford played out a stalemate that boosts neither sides' promotion aspirations.
U's substitute James Constable came closest to winning it when his header from Peter Leven's cross grazed the post at the death.
Lee Mansell had the best chance in the opening period but visiting keeper Ryan Clarke saved his close-range effort.
Joe Oastler hit the woodwork for the Gulls after the interval and Michael Duberry twice went close for Oxford.
The result means that Oxford have now kept four consecutive clean sheets.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Torquay boss Martin Ling told BBC Radio Devon:
"The first half was a non-event really.
"We showed the ugly side, determination, character and sticking with the game plan.
"When you look at the chances, the two clear-cut chances fell our way."
