St Brelade beat St Peter to make Trinity Shield final


St Brelade have booked their place in the final of Jersey's Trinity Shield with a 2-1 win over St Peter.

Chris Andrews scored twice in the second half for the hosts, including the late winner, while Jamie Mourant netted for St Peter.

Meanwhile in Tuesday's quarter-final St Saviour beat St Martin 4-2 thanks to a brace from from Jack Boyle and goals by Chris Young and Craig Leitch.

Ryan Evans and Matt Westwood were the scorers for St Martin.

St Saviour will now play either St Ouen or St Clement in the second semi-final.

The annual tournament sees Jersey-born players compete for either the parish they live in or the parish their parents lived in when they were born.
