Ballymena United 2-2 Donegal Celtic

New manager Glenn Ferguson saw his Ballymena United team battle out an entertaining draw with Donegal Celtic.

DC skipper Stephen McAlorum headed the visitors ahead on 17 minutes from a Johnny Harkness free-kick.

Just before half-time home captain David Munster headed the equaliser.

Aaron Stewart's well-taken goal, after an exchange with Gary McCutcheon, put United 2-1 up but Paul McVeigh headed in at the near post after a corner to earn the Belfast side a point.

Stewart continued his run and skilfully controlled before shooting past keeper Robert Robinson.
