St Ouen fight back to make Trinity Shield final

Football

St Ouen battled back from behind to beat St Saviour 3-1 and make it through to the final of Jersey's Trinity Shield.

Striker Craig Leitch gave St Saviour the lead, but second-half goals from Ben Rose, Jack Crawford and substitute Josh Vautier sent St Ouen through.

They face 2009 winners St Brelade in Thursday's final at Springfield.

The annual tournament sees Jersey's parishes going head-to-head over the festive period.

Players compete for either the parish they live in or the parish their parents lived in when they were born.
