Ghana midfielder Mohammed Abu has joined German side Eintracht Frankfurt on loan until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old Manchester City player has the option to extend the deal at the end of the season.
Abu is part for Ghana's squad for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations, will join the Bundesliga II side after the tournament in February.
"We have finally worked out a loan deal with regard to Mohammed Abu," Frankfurt general manager Bruno Hubner said.
"He will join our club for the rest of the season.
"We also have the chance to keep him at our club for another campaign, should he impress our coaching staff."
Abu spent last season on loan to Norwegian side Stromgodset and he is under contract Manchester City until June 2014.
He joined the English side from Ghanaian football academy Right to Dream.
