It could be two Rangers players in, one out for Partick Thistle after defender Darren Cole arrived at Firhill on loan.

Midfielder Kyle Hutton has just completed a spell with the First Division club and Rangers say he could next join Sheffield United on loan.

But striker Kal Naismith, who spent the first half of the season on loan to Cowdenbeath in Division Two, is set to join Cole in Maryhill.

Cole missed out on his debut after the match at Ross County was postponed.

The game at the Division One leaders' Victoria Park was called off because of snow in the Dingwall area.

Cole, who can play right back or centre back, made his Rangers debut in the Champions League against Bursaspor in December 2010.

However, the Scotland Under-21 international has not been in the first-team plans since Ally McCoist took over as manager from Walter Smith.
