Tranmere have extended the loan of goalkeeper Paul Rachubka from Leeds United until the end of January.

The 30-year-old has made five appearances for the Prenton Park club while fellow keeper Owain Fon Williams recovers from a broken hand.

Rovers manager Les Parry said: "I'm really pleased to be able to keep Paul for another month.

"He's made a number of great saves for us in his time here and has fitted in really well with the lads."

Parry continued: "Owain is still a couple of weeks away from returning to training so Paul will give us the cover we need in his absence.

"I'd like to thank Leeds manager Simon Grayson for letting Paul stay with us."
