Tranmere midfielder Joss Labadie says the club are good enough to climb the League One table, despite only one win in their last eight games.

Tranmere, who face Brentford at home on Saturday, are 16th in the table and eight points above the relegation zone.

"We were not in a good run of form prior to the win against Bury [on 30 December], we just need to get back on track," he told BBC Radio Merseyside.

"It takes just two or three wins and we're back in the mix up there."

He added: "That's what we're looking to do because we feel we're good enough. We need to start games right and start on the front foot."
