Shrewsbury Town are waiting to hear if young defender James Hurst will extend his loan deal from West Brom.
The 19-year-old defender joined the Shrews in November and has made nine appearances for the League Two outfit.
"The lad has not made his mind up yet whether he wants to stay," manager Graham Turner told the club website.
"He's getting regular football here at a good standard and it's all part of his education, if James wants to stay then we would welcome that."
Hurst is currently back with the Premier League side and played in Albion's reserve game against Chelsea on Monday.
Turner has already seen another of his loan players leave the Greenhous Meadow after Everton midfielder James Wallace opted to join League One side Stevenage.
