Di Canio accepted the FA's improper conduct charge

The Football Association has handed Swindon Town manager Paolo di Canio a one-match touchline ban.

Di Canio was charged with improper conduct for celebrating on the pitch after Alan McCormack scored a late winner in the 2-1 win at Northampton on 31 December.

The 43-year-old Italian also received a £500 fine.

He will serve his ban during Saturday's League Two match against Rotherham at the Don Valley Stadium.
