The Football Association has fined Karl Robinson £1,250 but not issued a ban after the MK Dons boss admitted a charge of improper conduct.
Robinson was sent to the stands during Dons' 1-0 win over Colchester after an altercation with referee Carl Berry.
The 31-year-old pleaded guilty to the subsequent charge but requested a personal hearing, which took place on Wednesday afternoon.
On top of the fine Robinson was warned about his future behaviour.
The Dons manager could have receive a touchline ban for his infringement, which included entering the field of play, but will now be free to sit in the dugout for Saturday's League One clash against Carlisle and the FA Cup replay with QPR three days later.
