Crawley Town defender Claude Davis has signed an 18-month contract with the League Two club.
The Jamaica international joined the Reds on a short-term deal in September and has made 17 appearances, scoring two goals.
Davis, 32, said: "I have loved every minute of it since I came to Crawley.
"It's a special club and one I look forward to being a big part of in the future. It's a club going places and I want to be part of that."
Crawley manager Steve Evans added: "We're absolutely delighted to have Claude with us for the next 18 months.
"He could have gone back to the Championship and a lot of League One clubs were interested, but he can see we are ambitious to do well.
"He really enjoys the tremendous dressing-room spirit and work ethic we have here.
"He always said he wanted to stay here because he enjoys the club and can see our ambitions."
