Sam Smith scored a late equaliser for Lincoln against Gateshead in a game that saw both teams finish with 10 men.
Richard Pacquette headed the visitors ahead, but Jon Shaw equalised into the bottom right corner from 12 yards out.
Gateshead's Yemi Odubade headed home and scored a neat finish, before James Marwood and Alan Power were both dismissed after an altercation.
Pacquette scored from close range before Smith fired in the equaliser from 18 yards.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Lincoln City manager David Holdsworth told BBC Lincolnshire:
"There was a lot of passion out there and I'm delighted to come here and gain a valuable point, but both managers went through a lot of ups and downs today.
"We do a lot of research and analysis of our opposition but today I had to write only one word on the board - 'character'. Over the season the players' character has been called into question and I felt we showed a lot today.
"Going 3-1 down, they showed unbelievable passion. Our dressing room's come alive tonight and I'm very pleased with that."
