Derby recorded their fourth clean-sheet in a row with a goalless draw with Burnley at Turf Moor on Saturday.
The result leaves Nigel Clough's side in 11th place in the Championship, two points off the play-off places and one point ahead of Burnley in 12th.
The blustery weather was a factor in Burnley's best chance of the game.
Keith Treacy arced over a cross from the left which floated in the wind over Derby goalkeeper Frank Fielding and came back off the inside of the post.
Moments earlier, Fielding had done brilliantly to stretch full-length to keep out Charlie Austin's header from Dean Marney's cross, then recovered quickly to block John McQuoid's follow-up effort.
Burnley defender Michael Duff headed a 65th-minute corner over the bar, while at the other end Ryan Noble spurned a chance from Jamie Ward's cross.
Fielding was called into action again in the 80th minute when he denied Jay Rodriguez with his legs.
