Braintree Town 2-2 Stockport

Danny Rowe came off the bench to rescue a point for Stockport as they fought back from 2-0 down against Braintree.

Aswad Thomas volleyed in Ben Wright's cross to put the hosts ahead, before he found Nicky Symons, who slotted the ball in from 18 yards.

The Hatters pulled one back when Joe Connor rose to head in Sean McConville's cross.

Jon Nolan then found Rowe in the last minute and he fired in a stunning equaliser from 30 yards.

Braintree manager Alan Devonshire told BBC Essex:

Devonshire proud of Braintree effort

"When we went 2-0 up you expect to hold on but we didn't. It's something we've got to learn by.

"I was disappointed with the second goal but the boys gave 120 minutes on Tuesday against Gateshead. I only made one change from that game, so I'm proud of them.

"We nicked a late goal at Gateshead, we nicked a late goal at Bath in the last few weeks. I'm not going to knock them."
