Ebbsfleet United and Dartford are three wins from Wembley after victories in the FA Trophy second round.

Calum Willock, Yado Mambo and Ricky Shakes scored in 2008 winners Ebbsfleet's 3-2 win over Chester.

Jacob Erskine was Dartford's hero with his first hat-trick for the club in their 4-2 win over Boston.

Erskine told BBC Radio Kent: "I loved it today. If you start working hard things start paying off for you. I'm impressed with myself."

He added: "I've never played in the FA Trophy, it would be a dream to play at Wembley. Usually I'm on loan here and everywhere, but hopefully I can progress with Dartford."

Dartford manager Tony Burman was particularly pleased for Erskine who he felt has earned his hat trick through his hard work on the training ground.

"I'm really pleased for him," said Burman. "He's worked hard and if he keeps listening to us he will improve again."

Dartford and Ebbsfleet are now into the last sixteen of the competition and will discover their third round opponents on Monday.

Ebbsfleet manager Liam Daish said: "I wouldn't underestimate the result against a side who have got a habit of winning games. Chester are on the up, you see their crowd, they're winning games and have momentum. It was a tough test and we were fantastic."

Yado Mambo, the Charlton loanee who scored Ebbsfleet's second, said: "The win's a big win for us. At 2-0 it was a dangerous scoreline. They got it back to 2-1 and were buzzing so we really had to battle it out."

Elsewhere Welling dropped down to third place in Blue Square Bet South as they lost 2-0 to Weston-super-Mare while Bromley, who had come from 2-0 down to level with leaders Woking, conceded late to lose 3-2.

Maidstone United opened up a four point gap in the Ryman South play off places with a 1-0 win over Burgess Hill while Hythe beat Kent rivals Whitstable 4-2 and Herne Bay extended their lead at the top of the Kent league to fourteen points with a 3-1 win over Lordswood.
