The only goal of the game was scored by Freiburg striker Papiss Demba Cisse in the 62nd minute.
Earlier on Sunday Ghana, were held to a 1-1 draw by an understrength South Africa in a training match in Rustenburg.
South Africa took a surprise lead after seven minute when Black Stars goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey was caught out by Thami Sangweni's long-range effort.
Ghana drew level five minutes later through Inter Milan midfielder Sulley Muntari's looping shot from outside the penalty area.
The Black Stars could not force a win, despite dominating posession, and had to settle for a draw against a Bafana Bafana team missing many key players who were not released by their clubs, as the fixture was not a full international.
Striker Asamoah Gyan was not involved in the match, as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury.
The Ghanaians are in Group D at the Nations Cup along with Botswana, Mali and Guinea.
Angola rounded up their preparations for the Nations Cup with a 3-1 win over an understrength Sierra Leone on Saturday.
The match was the fifth and last game for the Palancas Negras in their preparation for the tournament in Equatorial Guinea and Gabon.
Angola are in Group B, together with Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast and Sudan.

The Zambians were sharper during the opening half at Rand Stadium and captain Christopher Katongo broke through only to be thwarted by goalkeeper Ephraim Tjihonge.
The Namibians improved in the second half, with Larry Horaeb rattling the crossbar, but the match ended in a stalemate.
Zambia are in Group A with Equatorial Guinea, Libya and Senegal.
