Stockport aided their survival chances with a draw against 10-man AFC Telford.
The Bucks opened the scoring when Chris Sharp stabbed home from close range, before Steve Jones doubled the advantage with a neat finish.
Daniel O'Donnell's header gave the Hatters hope, before Phil Trainer was sent off for the visitors for a second bookable offence.
And the hosts took full advantage as Carl Piergianni headed home to give them a share of the spoils.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
AFC Telford United boss Andy Sinton told BBC Radio Shropshire:
"The way we played in the first half, every time we broke away we looked like we could score.
"We really frustrated them. You heard what their fans thought of them at half-time.
"Trainer was silly and naive and he's let the team down.
"He has a petulant side to his game. It's annoying and costly - and it'll cost him."
