A Magno Vieira double helped Fleetwood to victory over 10-man Braintree Town and moved them top of the Blue Square Bet Premier.
Braintree took the lead when Ben Wright's free-kick was headed home by Matthew Paine.
Wright was sent off for bad tackle on Shaun Beeley, before Vieira levelled from the penalty spot after Paine fouled Jamie Vardy.
Vardy nodded home Lee Fowler's cross, before Vieira pounced from close range.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Braintree Town manager Alan Devonshire told BBC Essex:
"We felt it (the Ben Wright red card) was a very harsh decision. It was no different from a tackle only five minutes later from one of their players.
"It was very harsh and its changed the game. I felt we was quite comfortable. We knew what they were going to throw at us. When you get down to 10 men with a team that pass the ball well, you know you are going to be struggling after that.
"I was disappointed with the goals we've given away but I'm not going to knock my players, they've given everything again."
