Guernsey face selection problems as key players return
Guernsey FC will face selection problems as some of their long-term injured begin to return to contention.
Island captain Matt Warren has yet to play for the Green Lions after suffering an Achilles injury.
Striker Craig Young and Guernsey-born New Zealand Under-17 player Rhys Jordan are also getting back to full fitness.
"Tony (Vance) has a very competitive squad to pick from now which will really keep everybody on their toes," said assistant manager Colin Fallaize.
But Fallaize says no-one will walk straight back inot the Guernsey side, and that the players who have taken the island team to the top of the Combined Counties Division One have impressed him and manager Tony Vance.
"What Tony has at his disposal now is players coming back from fitness that have been out for a little while, good players, coming back.
"Players who have rolled their sleeves up and taken us through difficult periods where the squad might not have been as strong, and those opportunities have come for them and they've absolutely played some great roles.
"What's coming up ahead for the players is about showing how much you want to be involved in it," Fallaize added to BBC Guernsey.
