Hamilton battled back from two goals down to earn a draw against Scottish First Division strugglers Ayr United.
The hosts went ahead on 32 minutes when Adam Dodd rifled a 30-yard free-kick into the net and Eddie Malone turned home from close range to double Ayr's advantage before half-time.
But Accies were level by the 53rd minute as Greig Spence touched home Jon McShane's cross just after the break and then Daniel Redmond slotted home from 12 yards.
Neither side could find a winner and Ayr remain a point above bottom club Queen of the South.
