Livingston 2-2 Queen of the South

Scottish Football League

Ryan McGuffie's late penalty earned basement club Queen of the South a point in a 2-2 draw with Livingston.

The hosts, looking to bounce back from three defeats in a row, fell behind just 16 minutes in when Tom Brighton drilled a left-foot effort into the bottom corner from 12 yards.

Liam Fox pulled Livingston level five minutes before half-time with a low finish after he had been found in the area by Marc McNulty.

The West Lothian side appeared to be heading for victory when substitute Stefan Scougall smashed in from inside the area in the 73rd minute.

But Craig Barr upended Gavin Reilly and McGuffie smashed home the resulting spot-kick to ensure his struggling side earned a share of the spoils.

Queen of the South defender Craig Reid saw red in the final minute for a second bookable offence.
