Worcester City crashed to their fourth straight league defeat as they lost to Colwyn Bay at St George's Lane.
Rob Hopley netted the only goal of the game after 11 minutes to earn the Welsh side a deserved victory.
City were solid defensively but offered little as an attacking force so could have few complaints about the outcome.
Tom Thorley was guilty of squandering the home side's best opportunity as he fired wide of an upright when set up well by Mike Symons.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Worcester manager Carl Heeley told BBC Hereford & Worcester:
"I was very disappointed with us going forward and in the final third as we have struggled to create chances.
"That has really surprised all of us as, although it was a bobbly surface which doesn't suit us, we have got to adapt our game.
"I am bitterly disappointed with us and especially the lack of creativity."
