Blackpool 2-1 Coventry

Blackpool came from a goal down to beat Coventry City with two goals in the last three minutes.

The Sky Blues, who sit bottom of the Championship table, took the lead when youngster Conor Thomas scored his first career goal.

Kevin Phillips equalised for the home side, when he converted a pin-point cross from debutant Roman Bednar.

The turnaround was complete when Gary Taylor-Fletcher turned home a cross by John Fleck from close-range.

The win moves Blackpool into the top six, level on points with Reading and Middlesbrough with the latter in action on Wednesday at Leicester.

The Sky Blues remain rooted to the bottom of the table after suffering their 16th league defeat of the season.

They now sit seven points from safety and have won just one of their last five matches.
