Gainsborough Trinity manager pleased with away point

Gainsborough Trinity manager Steve Housham says a tactical switch helped his side earn a point away at FC Halifax Town.

Halifax took an early lead, before goals from Andrew Boyce and Paul Connor put Trinity 2-1 up, with the home side equalising late on.

Housham told BBC Lincolnshire: "It was a good, hard earned point after a disappointing start."

The result meant Trinity climbed back up into the play off places.

Housham also praised the impact of subsititute Leon Mettam saying: "He was lively, worked his socks off and made a change for us."
