Bath City will not appeal against Gethin Jones's red card for a tackle on Anthony Wilson in the Blue Square Bet Premier game against Alfreton.
City boss Aidie Britton had described the decision to send the 30-year-old defender off as "unfortunate".
But a former Premier League referee reviewed the footage for the club, and advised against appealing the decision.
"He is adamant there is not sufficient evidence to overturn the decision," a club statement said.
"One further fact has informed the club's decision making process. Gethin has been carrying an injury for several games.
"It has not been enough to prevent him starting so far, but we believe that the chance to rest and fully recover will be beneficial."
