Annan 2-2 East Stirlingshire

Scottish Football League

Jack Steele struck a second-half equaliser for Annan who were forced to settle for a point in the draw with bottom-of-the-table East Stirling at Galabank.

David Winters rifled home Sean O'Connor's pass from 25 yards to give Athletic a fifth-minute lead but the visitors turned the game on its head inside 25 minutes.

Scott Maxwell connected with Alexander Lurinsky's right-wing cross from close range to restore parity after 12 minutes before Lurinsky tapped home midway through the first half to put the Shire ahead.

Midfielder Steele then finished neatly from another O'Connor pass 12 minutes after the restart but the home side were unable to find a winner as visiting keeper Calum Antell brilliantly turned away David Cox's right-wing corner.
