Blue Square Bet North side Worcester are in talks with winger Greg Mills after his release by AFC Telford, BBC Radio Shropshire understands.

The former Derby County youngster played an integral part in Telford's promotion from the Blue Square Bet North last season.

But the 21-year-old struggled to break into the side following the 4-0 defeat against Chelmsford City in the FA Cup.

Mills scored six goals in 30 appearances last season.

The winger joined Telford in August 2010 on an initial month's loan from Derby County.

His loan was extended following a successful spell at the Bucks Head.

But Derby decided to release him when his contract expired in 2011.

Fellow midfielder Courtney Pitt is another Telford player likely to leave the Bucks Head.
