Matty Whichelow scored one and assisted another on his debut as Wycombe beat Tranmere Rovers to move out of the relegation places.
Adam McGurk gave the visitors the lead with a dipping shot from 20 yards out after cutting in from the left.
But Gareth Ainsworth crossed for Watford loanee Whichelow to head home an equaliser.
And they won it when Ainsworth pounced after the Rovers defence had failed to deal with Whichelow's cross.
Tranmere's John Welsh hit the bar with a 25-yard free-kick as Tranmere remain 17th in the table.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Tranmere manager Les Parry tells BBC Radio Merseyside:
"You can't give two goals away. They'll think they defended the lead well and you can't argue with that.
"We've scored within the first five minutes in the last three games and we've lost all three of them 2-1.
"We've got to work the keeper more and we've got to score goals when we get our chances.
"We have a points target and we are slightly ahead of schedule, so that's not too bad."
