Sheffield Wed 2-1 Yeovil

Reda Johnson scored the winner for Sheffield Wednesday as they beat struggling Yeovil to jump up into the automatic promotion places.

The Glovers led when Jonathan Obika poked the ball past Stephen Bywater from Ryan Dickson's through ball.

Jermaine Johnson levelled the scores with a brilliant strike from 30 yards.

The Owls pressed for a winner and it came when Johnson was there to pick up the pieces after Sam Walker saved Clinton Morrison's shot.

VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM

Sheffield Wednesday manager Gary Megson told BBC Radio Sheffield:

"I thought we were really so-so. In the first half it didn't look like the Sheffield Wednesday side we've been used to seeing so far this season at S6.

"The second half was much more like it and certainly had to be to pull that result out of the fire, because the first half probably went with the weather and how cold it was and we just didn't do anything to light the place up.

"It was disappointing in the first half, I thought we wasted 45 minutes and then we've come out much better in the second half. We looked much more like it and there was a lot more threat on their goal and they couldn't really get out [of their half] until the last six or seven minutes.

"I was really pleased at that point with the contributions of the more experienced players to keep the ball and see the game out."
