Kettering Town's Blue Square Bet Premier game with Forest Green Rovers has been postponed.
A local referee inspected the pitch at 1030 GMT on Tuesday morning and decided it was unplayable.
A statement on the Poppies website read: "Tonight's match has been postponed due to the state of the pitch and surrounds, and adverse weather forecast tonight."
No new date has been set for the Nene Park encounter.
