Torquay United have signed free agent winger Nathan Craig until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old Welshman has been on trial at Plainmoor for the past two weeks and has impressed manager Martin Ling in reserve-team fixtures.
Craig came through the youth ranks at Everton, making one substitute appearance in a Europa League tie with BATE Borisov in 2009.
He has also played for Wales Under-21s and had a spell at Caernarfon Town.
"Nathan has done really well in his trial and deserves the opportunity to show us what he can do over an extended period," said Ling.
"This arrangement allows us to make a proper assessment on whether to offer Nathan a long-term deal in the summer."
