Malky Mackay bemoans Cardiff defending

Cardiff City boss Malky Mackay refused to press the panic button after watching his side lose 3-1 at home to promotion rivals Blackpool.
Joe Mason fired Cardiff into a second-half lead, but Kevin Phillips equalised for Blackpool before Matt Phillips scored two late on for the visitors.
"Our defending for their goals was very poor," said Mackay.
"We've not defended like that as a team very often this season. We've been beaten twice in 17 games."
Matt Phillips' brace moved Blackpool to within two points of Cardiff who are third in the Championship, two points behind Southampton and six behind leaders West Ham.
The 20-year-old winger was rumoured to be a transfer target for Cardiff last month, but Mackay preferred to concentrate on his current squad after the defeat.
"We've got a real good group that's hardy and competitive and will continue to be that," Mackay added.
Cardiff are next in action away to Leicester City next Saturday in the league, before facing Peterborough at home on Tuesday, 14 February.
