Carlisle and Tranmere played out an entertaining goalless draw.
Teenage debutant Ryan Brunt almost gave the visitors the lead, but his close-range effort was cleared off the line by Carlisle defender Peter Murphy.
Rovers had another great chance to score but Adam McGurk saw his effort blocked by keeper Adam Collin.
However, Carlisle almost grabbed a winner late on but Owain fon Williams saved superbly from Paddy Madden's header to keep the scores level.
Following this result, Rovers have now gone eight games without a victory.

Carlisle boss Greg Abbott told BBC Radio Cumbria:
"We've missed our big player [Lee Miller] tonight, we've seen at Chesterfield and again tonight how important he is to us.
"He helps us to get the ball up the pitch, to keep the ball and get chance to get midfielders onto it, and to play the type of football we have been doing.
"Players have not been able to cope with that for the last two, but we've scrambled four points from our last two home games and it could have been worse."
