Midfielder Tom Doherty has joined Bath City on non-contract terms.
The 32-year-old former Northern Ireland international has been without a club since his release from Newport County in January.
He started his career at Bristol City and went on to have spells at Yeovil Town, Wycombe and Bradford before joining Newport last summer.
"I'm not with a team at the moment and I just want to play football," he told the club website.
Manager Adie Britton added: "He's been a fantastic player over the years. I spoke to him over the summer about joining City, but he chose to go to Newport. I don't think it worked out for him, but we think he'll be happy with us."
