Billy Clarke settling in well at Crawley Town

Billy Clarke

Crawley striker Billy Clarke says he is settling in well at the club following his deadline-day move from Blackpool.

The 24-year-old made his debut for the Reds in their 4-2 victory over Cheltenham on Tuesday.

He told BBC Sussex: "In the next couple of weeks and the more games I get, I'll feel more comfortable around the place.

"It's a great club with great ambitions and hopefully I can help them get promoted. If we play like we did on Tuesday, there's no question about it."

Clarke confident of scoring for Reds

Clarke played in a front three with Tyrone Barnett and Sanchez Watt against the Robins, and he is looking forward to forging a good link-up with them.

"You can see they are two very good players," the Irish forward added.

"Sanchez is from Arsenal and Ty has been linked with moves everywhere.

"It was not that hard for me to play well with them - it just clicked. I know I will get chances and score."
