Dag and Red 0-5 Cheltenham

Cheltenham moved up to second place in League Two after handing out a 5-0 drubbing at Dagenham and Redbridge.

Luke Summerfield lashed home after the hosts failed to clear a corner, before Steve Elliott compounded similarly poor defending by firing home a low strike.

Kaid Mohamed followed up a free-kick for 3-0 after keeper Chris Lewington saw red for handling outside the area.

James Spencer blasted in a fourth and Michael Spillane turned Mohamed's cross into his own net to make it five.

Cheltenham are now level on points with leaders Southend, but Swindon sit one point behind in third with two games in hand.

Cheltenham back on form - Yates

"This is a tough place to come and we've shown we're back on it .

"We had a terrific start and that helped. For the second half I asked for the same which I got. We were patient and we moved the ball quite well.

"After scoring two early goals I didn't think they were ever going to get back into it. The sending off made it doubly difficult for them.

"We've got two home games coming up this week which we can look forward to with belief. With a 5-0 win you can back that up."
