Scotland Under-21 midfielder Ryan Jack will return to the Aberdeen squad this weekend after being dropped for "disciplinary reasons".
The 19-year-old was left out of the travelling party for Tuesday's 2-1 Scottish Cup fifth-round replay victory over Queen of the South in Dumfries.
BBC Scotland has learned that the 19-year-old had spoken out of turn to Aberdeen assistant boss Archie Knox.
That came in the wake of the goal-less draw away to Hibernian on Saturday.
Dons manager Craig Brown believes a one-match suspension is punishment enough.
So Jack will be back in the fold for this weekend's visit by St Johnstone in the Scottish Premier League.
