Emmett Friars celebrates the Swifts' second goal with coach Rodney McAree

Dungannon Swifts secured an important away victory over Lisburn Distillery.

Distillery goalkeeper Billy Brennan spilled a cross in the sixth minute and Ryan Harpur's drilled shot from 12 yards was deflected into the net.

Gary Liggett headed wide, Niall Morgan tipped over Jordan Hughes' lob from the edge of the area and Michael Ward's shot sailed well over the bar.

Emmett Friars poked the ball home after 46 minutes and Andy Hunter cleared a Terry Fitzpatrick effort off the line.

Johnny Topley also squandered a late chance for the Swifts.
