March 'pivotal' for Torquay says boss Martin Ling
Torquay United manager Martin Ling says March will be a 'pivotal' month in his side's League Two campaign.
The Gulls visit promotion rivals Crawley and Swindon as well play-off chasing Burton and Rotherham.
"If you look at the month of March it's going to be a pivotal month for us," Ling told BBC Radio Devon.
"We're really looking forward to the challenge ahead. The players are, the management team are and I'm sure the fans will as well."
He continued: "More than half the fixtures we've got left come in the next month and there's also some really good teams that we've got to play in the next month."
Torquay, who have lost just twice in League Two since October, have rocketed up the table and are just three points off top place.
They were languishing in mid-table before a run which saw them win 14 out of 17 league matches pushed them towards the summit of League Two.
The run led to Ling being named League Two Manager of the Month for January.
"At the end of March I think it will tell us what we really are," Ling added.
"Are we a top-three side? Are we a top-seven side? Or are we neither of them two."
