AFC Telford United midfielder Jon Adams has returned from his loan spell at Leamington after contracting pneumonia.
The 27-year-old joined Leamington in January, but played only twice after a series of postponed fixtures.
"Jon initially went down with what everyone thought were flu symptoms," Telford manager Andy Sinton told BBC Radio Shropshire.
"But when it was diagnosed it meant obviously he'd come back to us as Leamington wouldn't extend the loan."
Sinton had earlier said he would increase the loan period to ease the Bucks' financial burden.
"We have some financial restrictions hanging above us, and we haven't had many home games recently - and if I have two or three who I'm going to play in front of Jon then we'd probably keep him out [on loan]."
Adams joined Telford in 2007 and has gone on to become only the third player in the side's history to make over 200 appearances.
