Sylvans miss chance to go into second place in Priaulx League

Sylvans blew their chance to go second in Guernsey's Priaulx League after losing 3-1 at home to Vale Rec.

The loss keeps St Martin's in second place by a point with both sides having one more game to go.

Belgrave Wanderers could go above both of them as they have a game in hand and are just three points off Saints after a 2-1 win at bottom side Rangers.

Meanwhile champions North ended their season with a 15th win from 18 games as they beat Rovers 5-3 at Northfield.
