Blue Square Bet Premier play-off hopefuls York played out a goalless draw with Tamworth.
City's Matty Blair saw his effort blocked by the feet of goalkeeper Jonathan Hedge in the best of the chances early on.
Daniel Parslow saw a poor header wide for the Minstermen, while at the other end Connor Taylor saw his shot saved by the legs of Michael Ingham.
Hedge took centre stage late on to deny Lanre Oyebanjo and Matt Blinkthorn.

York City manager Gary Mills told BBC Radio York:
"You're always disappointed and you have to win games at home. We've taken four points out of six and had two clean sheets at home so it's not bad.
"Everybody wants us to win every game. If it can happen, fantastic, but if it doesn't you have to be realistic. Tamworth went to Fleetwood and got a 2-2, they went to Cambridge and won 1-0 and they're a difficult side to beat.
"It's a point, a big point for us. Nobody is going to give us anything.
"We've got to work hard for what we want to achieve and as we speak we still sit in the play offs still."
