Newport County have decided to use Spytty Park as the venue for their FA Trophy semi-final first leg against Wealdstone despite drainage problems.
Rodney Parade, the home of the Newport Gwent Dragons, had been put on standby.
Other games could yet be switched to Rodney Parade, according to club chairman Chris Blight.
"After due consideration it was decided that Spytty Park would have to be the venue for Wealdstone," confirmed Blight.
"Rodney Parade is still very much the subject of discussion for a fixture, or possibly two, before the end of this season."
The Exiles' first leg against Isthmian League outfit Wealdstone takes place on 10 March before the return leg on 17 March.
