Alloa remain nine points clear at the top of the Third Division after a hard-fought win at Annan.
Alloa, who had suffered two losses before last week's win over Clyde, went ahead in the seventh minute as Darren Young fired a James Doyle pass past Alex Mitchell at the near post.
Annan looked threatening, though, and Christopher Jardine's cross was met by the head of Sean O'Connor to equalise in the 33rd minute.
The Galabankies were close to taking the lead soon after, but David Cox's bullet of a strike was tipped around the post by Scott Bain.
An even match was eventually decided in the 77th minute when Ben Gordon squared across the six-yard box and Stephen May was on hand to slot home Alloa's winner.
