Rotherham 0-1 Torquay

Lee Mansell helped Torquay's push for promotion with a narrow victory on the road at play-off hopefuls Rotherham.

The home side started strongly, with Gareth Evans's testing shot parried by Robert Olejnik and Alex Revell slamming an effort against the woodwork.

But the Gulls took the lead when Mansell powered a header in from Kevin Nicholson's cross from the left.

And Olejnik stopped another Evans shot and a Lewis Grabban drive to ensure the Gulls moved up to second.

VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM

Rotherham United manager Andy Scott tells BBC Radio Sheffield:

"The fact of the matter is we're not good enough attacking in the box.

"We dominated the game again, creating numerous chances, it's just that ruthlessness and we haven't got that at the moment unfortunately.

"I can't fault the endeavour, commitment or the way we played.

"We played very well, but we got no points again."
