Chesterfield 1-1 MK Dons

Promotion-chasing MK Dons came from behind to draw with Chesterfield, who are now bottom of the League One table.

Drew Talbot fired the Spireites into an early lead from 12 yards out.

But James O'Shea levelled the scores after running at the defence and beating impressive home keeper Tommy Lee from 20 yards out.

Lee denied Daniel Powell either side of O'Shea's goal and Dons debutant Robert Hall hit the crossbar as both teams played out a draw.

VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM

Chesterfield manager John Sheridan told BBC Radio Sheffield:

"I thought we had some really good chances and when it was 1-0, I think it was Franck [Moussa] that had a great chance.

"We needed that second goal, because they are a good team.

"They pass the ball and move you around, they work you very hard, but I thought we coped very well.

"it was end-to-end stuff, so great credit to both sets of players. I though they both wanted to win the game."
