Albion Rovers 0-1 Airdrie United

Albion missed the chance to move off the bottom of the Scottish second division table after losing to Airdrie in the Lanarkshire derby.
The hosts should have gone in front early on but Jack Werndly sliced wide.
Airdrie went ahead on 27 minutes when Derek Holmes' header dropped to Cameron McDonald to lash into the top corner.
Rovers had only won once in 11 games and were largely restricted to long-range efforts before John Gemmell's shot was well saved by Grant Adam.
And with Albion pushing to create a chance of an equaliser, the Diamonds held on to record their first win in six games.
